Can a minor (under 18 years of age) accompany an adult into a Bingo Hall?
To purchase cards or play play bingo in Alberta you must be an adult -- that is at least 18 years of age. As well, minors are prohibited from being in a Bingo Hall that offers electronic gaming, whereas Minors can be a bingo hall that does not offer electronic gaming, but are not permitted to purchase cards or play.
What hours are bingo halls open?
Each Bingo hall sets its own operating hours. Some halls are not open every day of the week. The best way to find out hours of operation is to check the specific hall in the Where to Play section of this website or alternatively to call the hall you are interested in. Why isn't smoking allowed in Bingo Halls?
The Government of Alberta passed legislation prohibiting smoking in public buildings and facilities including all bingo halls. Smokers are no longer able to smoke within facilities and therefore must smoke outside of bingo halls and away from doorways.
